Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa took to social media on late Sunday night to report that he had tested positive for covid -19 .

Mr. B.S Yediyurappa wrote,”I have tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of doctors.” .

Mr. Yediyurappa, 77, also requested all those who have come in contact with him recently to be observant and exercise self quarantine.
