Bengaluru: Sadhguru, India’s renowned yoga guru and spiritual proponent, visited the World Peace Dome as part of his Save Soil Movement. The spiritual guru addressed the august congregation about the Save Soil Movement at World Peace Dome situated at Loni, Pune, Maharashtra. The World Peace Prayer Hall Dome is one of the unique and magnificent initiatives of MIT World Peace University to embark the symbol of harmonious and peace-loving society.
He is on a 100-day long motorcycle journey across Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, and India to build awareness and build consensus for policy making that can help in mitigating soil degradation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadhguru, said, “If we proceed towards soil extinction, most of us will perish. Civilizations will crumble if there are food shortages. Our humanity will vanish in a matter of days. Our success will become our ultimate failure.”
He further added, “We have the opportunity to create a big turnaround in the next decade as a generation to fix the environment we are living in. We are the flowers of evolution only if we can handle our own intelligence. We can only be part of the solution when we ourselves are not a problem.”
