Greenwood High students win Inter School chess titles


Bangalore: In a tribute to its chess prowess, Greenwood High International School bagged the Boys and Girls Team Titles at the Inter School Chess Tournament conducted by NPS HSR recently at their campus.

Greenwood High Girls Team Scored 108 Points from 7 Rounds and won the Girls Team Title. NPS HSR scored 95 points and secured the runners up position and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School secured the 3rd position with 87 Points.

Greenwood High Boys Team Scored 108 points from 7 rounds and won the Boys Team Title. NPS HSR with 97.5 points secured the runners up position and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School with 87.5 Points secured the 3rd Position.

Apart from winning the group titles, the following Greenwood High Students won Individual Prizes too:

Shraddha Somanath -1st Place in U16 Girls Category, Nishanth S Gowda- 3rd Place in U16 Boys category.

Adrika Satpati – 2nd Place, Nikita Nale -3rd Place and Kyra Seth Syed -5th Place in U13 Girls Category.

Jyothir Adithya Kilari – 2nd Place and Vishruth Ajay Krishnan – 3rd Place in U11 Boys Category.

Nisarga G P- 2nd Place and Aanya Mahajan -5th Place in U9 Girls Category, Rihan Sharma -5th Position in U9 Boys Category

Nayonika Ghosh – 3rd place in U7 Girls Category and Darsh Jain – 5th Place in U7 Boys Category.
