Staying with Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute, the Maharashtra state legislature has condemned the statements made by Karnataka ministers that Mumbai should be made a union terriorty. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis said the government will take up the issue with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Despite a mutual agreement between two chief ministers of Maharashtra and Karnataka, such insensitive statements keep coming from Karnataka side. We will not tolerate such insensitive remarks,” he said.
