Pune: PET dog had bone cancer. The family whom the pet belonged has left no turned to save his life.
The family drove down all the way to Pune from Dehradun to save the 12 year old pet’s life. It took them 35 hours to reach Pune last month. The dog then underwent an amputation surgery to his left leg at Small Animal Clinic which is headed by Dr Narendra Pardeshi, a famous veterinary surgeon.
The amputation surgery lasting over tow hours to save the pet’s life was performed on January 9 by a team of doctors. The dog walked barely 24 hours later.
The pet belonged to Kanchan Khandke who had was earlier living in Pune but had shifted to Deharadun.
