Pune:Rohit Pawar, MLA who belongs to Sharad Pawar led NCP, is unfazed and unperturbed by the 12 hour questioning of the Enforcement Directorate.

Rohit Pawar who is the director of Baramati Agro has been charged by the ED of misusing the funds given by the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank.

Rohit Pawar who was grilled by ED since 11 in the morning came out of ED office in Mumbai around 11 pm. For nearly 12 hours, ED officials asked him different questions which he answered without any hestitation.

”I have done nothing wrong. Why should I fear,” Rohit Pawar said after coming out of the ED office.

The moment he stepped out of the ED office hundreds of party workers greeted him. Supriya Sule, Baramati MP and his aunt, were present when Rohit Pawar stepped out of ED office.

Rohit Pawar then addressed the press conference with confidence. He did not falter to any question that journalists asked him. His aunt, Supriya Sule, was seen recording his statements on her cellphone. Supriyatai looked happy and cheerful. Unlike Parth Pawar, son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Rohit Pawar is close to Supriya Sule.

Rohit Pawar has a strong personality and speaks Marathi with a flair. He answers every question thrown at him with ease. And it was no different on Wednesday night.

”Before joining politics, I was a businessman. I carried on my business legally unlike some people who were politicians first and then started their business…,” said Rohit Pawar to a thunderous applause from the party workers.

Rohit Pawar and Supriya Sule both thanked the journalists for patient waiting for 12 hours even as ED grilled the MLA.

Rohit Pawar was a given a heroe’s welcome and even chaired by supporters. He was seen smiling and in a cheerful mood. ”The ED questioning has not deterred me. It will not deter me. I will again go before the ED on February 1,” he said to loud cheers from party supporters.
