Pune: The series of accidents on Navale Bridge in Pune continues. Around Saturday morning, a truck driver lost control of the vehicle and hit seven vehicles one after the other. Fortunately, there was no loss of life, but there has been a history of lives lost on Navale Bridge in the past. It has been pointed out that accidents are happening due to the faulty design of this bridge. As a result, there is a dire need for the National Highway Authority of India to pay immediate attention and take a decision to either change the structure of Navale Bridge or come up with a solution on how to reduce accidents on the highway. Also, I request them to take immediate measures and stop the barrage of accidents.
