Spanish woman raped by 7 men in Jharkhand
What a big shame India has suffered. Seven inhuman humans allegedly raped a Spanish woman in Dhumka district of Jharkhand in India, police officials said on Saturday.
The woman is touring India along with her husband. She is stated to be 30 years old.
The alleged rape took place in the forest of Kunji Basti where the couple had set up a tent. The desperadoes first attacked the couple and then one by one raped the woman, the police said.
A police patrol team from Hansdiha police station spotted the couple desperately seeking help. The couple could not converse in English. She took the help of Google translate system to convey her predicament. The police then took them to the hospital.
The woman has shared a videon instagram in which she has in Spanish language narrated her ordeal to the world.
The Jharkhand police have so far detained four accomplices. The couple who are undergoing treatment in a hospital are stated to be out of danger.
All the accused are young and have drawn severe condemnation from people of Jharkhand. The issue was also raised in the Jharkhand assembly. A BJP MLA Amit Mandal accused the police of trying to protect the accused.
Bengaluru Blast,no arrest so far
IN Bengaluru, the IT capital of India, a low intensity blast which injured several people on Friday has led to state government stepping up security across the city.
The low-intensity blast had occured in a restaurant, which had injured nine people.
Though the Bengaluru police have detained a four persons, the prime accused who is seen in a CCTV footage carrying a bag has remained untraceable.
The Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand said they have detained four persons but are yet to make any arrest. The four suspects are being questioned, we are working on some clues, the police chief said.
In Pune, A Cop held for trying to sell drugs
In another shocker of an incident, a Police Sub Inspector from Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Maharashtra in India has been arrested for trying to make money by selling seized mephedrone drug worth Rs 45 crore.
The police sub inspector has been identified as Vikas Shelkhe who was with Nigdi police station.
The 44 kg drug was first found by Nigdi police on Friday. A cab driver had handed over a gunny bag to the Nigdi police. The cab driver had found the bag on the Pune-Mumbai highway in Nigdi area.
PSI Shelke took charge of the gunny bag. He found mepehdrone drug inside the bag. He then made a plan to make money as the drugs were worth Rs 45 crore, police said.
Looking for peddlers, Shelkhe approached Namami Shankar Jha, who however tipped off the senior police officers.
